Destream Workflow
Understanding how Destream operates as a platform for subcontracting digital display services. Users create products with our tools, embed them in streams, and audiences purchase display time.
Glossary
Key terms and definitions
Business Model
How the platform operates
The user (provider) subcontracts products (or product listings) - created on our platform with our tools - to us, then embeds those products into their stream. The end client purchases the products subcontracted to us. Our platform manages the sale and the delivery of the product (the platform sends the relevant order to be displayed on the stream). Upon completion of the order, the platform settles the outstanding balance - for the subcontracted services - with the provider.

Users may be temporarily suspended if repeated attempts to submit prohibited content are detected, or if they fail to comply with platform moderation requirements.

Settlement with Service Providers
How and when users receive payment
Upon delivery of the ordered product (display of information on stream), Destream settles outstanding balances with service providers via their chosen method. Settlements are manual. The balance in the account is indicative of the amount outstanding for the subcontracted services.
Settlement Calculation
Settlement amounts reflect the value of subcontracted digital services provided by the user and are calculated net of:
- •Processing fees
- •Chargebacks
- •Platform commission
Compliance & Audit Trail
Destream maintains a full audit trail of settlement calculations, ensuring transparency and compliance with card brand, tax, and accounting requirements. Users cannot request settlements for unpaid, disputed, or cancelled transactions. All settlements are paid only after the successful delivery of the service.
